2000: Antfactory Japan was established as a joint venture between Nikko Principal Investments and Antfactory Holdings Limited of the UK.

2003: Merged with Nikko Capital and changed the company name to Nikko Antfactory

2008: With Norinchukin Bank and Mitsubishi Corporation as major shareholders, the company name was changed to Ant Capital Partners.

2018: Mitsui & Co. Corporate Investment acquired Mitsubishi Corporation's shares, resulting in the current shareholder structure.
